First entry!!!

Hello every peoples!

Ok, so...Hi. For any of those interested, I created this journal so I could say what interests me. Such as KISS, KISS rules, end of story. Other things I like are The HRwiki forum (where I found out about this place), homestarrunner.com, rock, KISS, music, KISS and probably KISS. Ok, so I'll stop talking about KISS now. I might use this thing as a way to promote my Fan fiction, Vengance. It's a fantasy type thing. I'll post chapters here as I write them. Just in case anyone reads this, I have a cruddy keyboard so if I dont capitalize my "I"s, sorry. Ummmmmmm... OH! I know! I'll post the first three chapters of my Fiction thing I was talking about! Ok here they are!

Vengance: Prolouge

In the land of Dormar, all races live together peacfully thanks to an agreement between all leaders that differences will be setteled thorugh diplomacy instead of war. This has all been threatened by the Urg, a race of mutated dwarves that live in the mines to the north. Their new leader, Noid, is attacking all elvish settelments for unknown reasons. Borsch, a village in the central forests is the newest village under attack. Sean, a resident of the village, is a warrior turned politician known for his tactical genius. Thanks to this he managed to escape with most of the villagers un harmed by the Urgs. As he leads the villagers to the Dwarven stronghold located in a nearby mountain, another elf approaches him.

“Thank you for saving me from the Urg, Sean.” The the elf said,

“It wasn’t you I was saving it was my bow. It’s represented the village and its rulers for hundreds of years.” Sean said in a hard, direct voice.

“I don’t know. Are you sure you weren’t trying to save a pretty young lady from being brought to the obsidian mines to the north?” She said as she placed her hands on Sean’s back.

“I am very sure that was not my intention! Now stop or else I will bring you back to the forest and present you to the Urg leader himself!” Sean replied.

“Fine, you can say what you want, but I know men, and I know what they want!” She shot back.

“Believe what you want.” A frustrated Sean said back as he again began up the steep mountainous trail.

“If you really wanted me you’d try to impress me by trying to help some of our less capable citizens of our village. Or atleast tell me your name!" Sean said pointing to an elderly woman.

"My names Entropy." She said.

"Well, Entropy. It's nice to meet you but I'm not in the mood for small talk right now." Sean said, slightly less irratated then before.

"Alright then" Entropy said.

Entropy turned around and went to help the woman Sean had pointed out before.

"I'll get him yet." Entropy said to herself.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Far north in the snow top mountains a single blackened fortress lay in ruins, destroyed years ago by fires, served as a base for the obsidian mines. In those mines lived the Urg. A foul race of mutant dwarf, that knew only metal craft and destruction. The largest mine, called Mesa, was a kilometre deep. It had many fires raging throughout it and tunnels that stretched for immeasurable distances. In the center of Mesa was a gigantic spire that housed the Urg’s king, Noid. Noid had earned this title through a competition held every 6 years called Tungson. During this event, all Urg’s that want the title of king compete against each other in a battle royale. Noid, had somehow managed to learn elven magic (magic used by elves), which gave him great advantages over the others. Besides his loyal companion, General E, Noid is the only known Urg ever to have mastered any kind of sorcery.

In his throne within the central spire Noid and General E were discussing thier recent attacks on the elvish villages.

“General” Noid said in a booming, raspy voice.

“Yes, lord.” E replied obediently.

“Have your attack squads sent progress reports yet?”

“No sir” The E replied hesitantly

“Well when they do, send them a message saying that If they are late with the report again, commander Ar’chth is being charged with treason and must be dealt with accordingly.”

“Yes sir” The E said taking a deep breath.

“I can always rely on you General” Noid said in a softer tone then before.

“Thank you sir” The General said with pride.

Wth that, General E left the throne room.

END OF PROLOGUE

On the mountain pass night is coming quickly and the crow of owls can be heard all over the mountains. The elves of Borsch have made the long gruelling journey up the mountain and are only a few kilometres away from the entrance of the mines. But as night falls the elves begin to grow unwilling to hike any further.

“Excuse me…” An old lady asked Sean in a weak voice. “Can we please stop and rest? My bad knee can’t take much more of this.”

“But we’re so close!” Sean shot back in surprise of the suggestion.

“Oh, well…” The lady said in defeat

“Hey wait!” Another elf shouted from the back of the crowd of people. “I think we should vote on it! You’re a politician, you value democracy right?”

“Yes, but…” Sean tried to yell back

“Vote!” Another elf shouted from the crowd.

“Ya, vote!” Screamed a child from inside the group.

Pretty soon, the entire group of elves were chanting.

“VOTE! VOTE! VOTE!” They all yelled

“QUIET!!!” Sean screamed in frustration. “Urg scouts could be around! Do you want them to here us?”

There was silence form the group

“That’s what I thought! Now since you are all so keen on being political all of a sudden, we will vote.” Sean said, trying not to show his anger.

“All in favor of pressing on say I!”

No one made any noise, the loudest things heard on the mountain were the crickets.

“Fine then we will set up camp here, but only until day break, we want to get to the dwarves soon so as to use the warning horns.”

By the time the ordeal was over it was nearly pitch black.
Pretty soon elves could be seen pitching tents and lighting fires. What little food they had was divvied up between the old, the weak and the whinny. Not too long after camp had been set up and the rations had been eaten most of the group had gone to sleep. The ones left awake all crowded around the fire with the small amount of ail one elf had lost his left ear to the Urg for. Among those people were Entropy, Sean, Helga (a teacher known for her baking skills), Onsfar (a smith training under the villages main smith) and Tagen (the one who gave his ear for the booze). Pretty soon the group was drunk and telling stories about their fondest memories of the village. Since Sean was never all that much of a drinker he soon passed out. Onsfar and Tagen dragged him into a tent and tied up the front to keep bugs out. The two returned and the group began to talk again.

“That Sean guy needs to drink more.” Onsfar said

“I agree” Tagen said, slightly slurring his words.

“Well, I don’t think he does. He does need to calm down more though, I get cautious around him when he’s frustrated.” Helga said as she took the last sips of her beer.

“Same here.” Said Tagen slurring his words again.

“Well I don’t care what you guys think, I think he’s charming.” Said Entropy, trying not to let on that she was drunk.

“Charming?” Helga said slightly mockingly. “Dear, that man is as about charming as mud.”

“What would you know?” Said Entropy over the snorts of laughter from Onsfar and Tagen. “I can see it in him, he’s a kind, caring man!”

“Whatever you say, dear…” Helga said.

The group fell silent again. As Entropy rubbed her finger around the rim of her glass with a frown, you could just hear the sound of an owl perching on the branch of a nearby tree.
After a little while Onsfar piped up.

“Come on now, don’t be upset. Why don’t you sing us a song? That Might cheer ya up.”

“I can’t…” Entropy said sounding depressed.

“Oh, come on! We’re not going to make fun of ya! Lets hear ya sing!”

“Alright, fine.”

Entropy then stood up and began singing…

Anger he smiles, towering in shiny metallic purple armour
Queen Jealousy, envy waits behind him
Her fiery green gown sneers at the grassy ground

Blue are the life-giving waters taken for granted,
They quietly understand
Once happy turquoise armies lay opposite ready,
But wonder why the fight is on

But they're all bold as love, yes, they're all bold as love
they're all bold as love

My red is so confident that he flashes trophies of war and
ribbons of euphoria
Orange is young, full of daring,
But very unsteady for the first go round
My yellow in this case is not so mellow
In fact I'm trying to say it's frightened like me
And all these emotions of mine keep holding me from
Giving my life to a rainbow like you

But I'm bold as love
Well I'm bold, bold as love
I'm bold as love

“You’ve got a nice voice” Onsfar said after Entropy had stopped singing.

“Thank you Onsfar, but I’m not that good.” Entropy said slightly embarrassed.

“Well I thought it was…” Tagen trailed off before he could finish his sentence.

“What was that?” Tagen said quietly.

“What was what?!” Entropy said alarmedly.

*crack

“That! Did you here it?” Tagen said

“I heard it… Helga, go get Sean.” Onsfar whispered.

Helga just nodded and tip-toed over to Sean’s tent.

“Sean!” Helga hissed in Sean’s ear as she shook him.

“SEAN!!!” Helga said again.

“Wake-up!” Helga tried to be as quiet as she could.

“Stupid drunk...” Helga whispered under her breath as she reached for the satchel on Sean’s belt. She took a small leaf out of the satchel and held it under Sean’s nose.

“Unghhhh” Sean groaned.

“Sean! There’s something in the bushes we need you to...” Helga tried to say but was cut off by a loud scream coming from outside.

Sean grabbed the dagger from his side and jumped out of the tent and ran into the bushes where he saw the intruders silhouette.

“Please! Don’t! I’m not armed!” A young elf said form beneath a hood.

“What business do you have sneaking about our camp at this hour?” Sean said as he held the dagger against the strangers neck.

“I was trying to steal your ale when…”

“What!?” Sean said before the elf could finish. “An elf from our village risked his life to an Urg for that brew and you were going to steal it?”

“Yes sir! I mean no sir! I mean… Please don’t hurt me!” The elf said in fear.

Sean took the blade from the strangers neck and put it back on his belt.

“What is your name?” Sean said.

“My name is The Japanese Geek.” Said the elf

“That? Is your name? No, that’s stupid, you’ll be known as Teeg from now on.” Sean said in amazement of the odd name.

“Anything sir just please let me go!” Teeg said.

“I will let you go soon, come with me I have more to ask you.” Sean said some what calmly.

“Yes sir.” Teeg said.

Sean led Teeg towards his tent were Helga had been hiding.

“Helga, may we have a moment to ourselves please?” Sean said in a mockingly polite tone.

“Was that all it was? A scrawny little elf?” Helga asked.

“Yes Helga, now leave.” Sean said

“Stupid, scrawny, little, punk…” Helga could be heard whispering as she went.

“Now, where are you form and why are you out here so late?” Sean asked eerily calmly.

“I’m from a village to the far north.” Teeg said. “I was captured by Urg during an attack on my village. I was with the Urg for six days until I managed to escape during on of their attacks.”

“Go on…” Sean said.

“Once I escaped I tried for the dwarven mines up this mountain, but I got lost and ended up walking in circles for days.” Teeg said. “I was so hungry, and when I saw people I was excited to of finally been saved. But when I saw you pass out I realized you guys were drunk, I didn’t know if it’d be safe to approach your camp. But when I saw the beer I knew I had to have some, it just looked so…”

“Enough!” Sean said “Due to your predicament I will forgive you for trying to steal our food.”

“Thank you sir.” Teeg said relieved.

“Also, if you wish to join us tomorrow for our hike to the mines you may.” Sean said, trying to sound official even though he was obviously under the weather.

“Thank you, I will take advantage of your offer.” Teeg said graciously.

“Your welcome Teeg. Now get some sleep, it’s nearly 2 am.” Sean said with a yawn.

END OF CHAPTER ONE

Chapter 2

Sean woke up before dawn with a splitting head ache from a combination of alcohol and lack of sleep. He stumbled out of his tent and past Teeg (who had apparently slept on the ground outside his tent). Once he reached the place where Entropy and the other campers had been drinking he sat down and started to re-light the fire to keep away the mosquitoes. Soon after that he began the wake up the survivors.

“Come on! Wake up!” He said in a weak yet demanding voice.

The elf he was talking to rolled over and groaned.

“Hey! WAKE UP!” Sean said, this time yelling.

“Hmmmm?” The elf said still half asleep.

“Get up and start waking up the others” Sean said.

“Fine…” The other elf said.

The elf got up, got dressed and began to wake up the others.

By Noon the group had all woken up and were packing up their belongings.

“Hurry up people!!!” Sean barked.

Collective grumblings could be heard from the group as the pace of the rustling and clanking increased.

“Sean…” Teeg said hesitantly.

“What?” Sean said quickly.

“A lot of people are getting upset with you barking orders all of the time. Perhaps you could tone it down and the remainder of the trip might go smoother.” Teeg explained sheepishly.

“Don’t tell me how to do my job.” Sean said.

“It’s just…” Teeg tried to say but was cut off.

“DO I HAVE TO REPEAT MYSELF?” Sean said in anger.

“No, but…” Teeg sputtered, again getting cut off by someone yelling form the crowd.
“Hey! Leave him alone!” The elf said.

“Stay out of this!” Sean shot back not realizing he was only digging himself into a bigger hole.

“NO! We all just had most of our belongings burnt or stolen by Urg and you’re only lowering morale with your crappy mood!” The elf shot back.

Suddenly Sean remembered. That voice belonged to the same person who wanted to vote yesterday.

“Wait… Come here! I remember you, you’re the one who stirred up the trouble last night!” Sean said in anger.

“First, that was not trouble! That was democracy! Secondly, I will not look into the eyes of someone who insists on calling himself a leader but obviously cannot keep his temper in line long enough to make decisions that are for the good of his people, not just on what makes most sense to him!” The elf said.

Before Sean could speak more elves began to say things in agreeance with the other elf.

“Can you hear yourselves? You’re letting this guy make you all look like you’re all un-loyal savages!” Entropy said as she tried to look taller then the others.

“Well why should we be loyal to a leader who cannot lead?” An elderly person could be heard saying.

“Sean’s lead us through harder time before! What about the drought? Or when the cougars came through the village?” Entropy tried to say without sounding like she was pleading with them.

“He only managed to lead us through those because there was always relative order in the village, now it’s different.” The elf said.

Soon the Elf had pushed his way through the crowd to the where Sean was. He had Long black hair and a hunk of flesh was gone from his left ear in three places. Soon he began to talk.

“Since there is disagreement, we shall vote on whether Sean should continue to lead us!”

“Wait!” Sean said

Ignoring him the elf continued

“It worked yesterday, lets see if democracy works with this group!” The Elf said.

“Raise your hand if you want a new leader.” The Elf said before anyone could object to voting.

About half of the group raised their hands.

“Then it’s settled! Now, who shall be our new..” Sean cut the elf off before he could finish.

“Are you crazy? At most only half of these people raised their hands!” Sean desperately trying to win back the majority of the group.

“Are YOU crazy? Are you saying that you are denying these peoples votes to be legitimate?” The elf said.

“No…” Sean was once again cut-off.

“Then I suggest you accept what has happened and let us carry on!” The elf said.

“Now, whoever wants me, Cravess Ungoh, to be the new leader raise your hand.”

Only about a quarter of the group raised their hands this time.

“Who then will be our leader?” Cravess said.

The crowd went silent.

“Then it’s decided, I will lead these people from now until death!” Cravess said boastfully.

“Now, for my first order of business, Sean, get up against that tree.” Cravess said.

“What?” Sean said.

“Do it if you value your life!” Cravess said.

Sean first went for his dagger but realizing it was deep in his pack, he did what he was told.

Cravess then took out a rope and tied him to the tree. Then getting about an inch away from Sean’s face he said “Emperor Noid says Hi.”

Sean spit in Cravess’ face.

“Flattery will get you nowhere!” Cravess hissed at Sean.

The group did not hear this over their collective murmurs.
“Does anyone have any objections?” Cravess said.

Entropy felt her stomach twist as she tried to gain the courage to speak up.

“Erm…” She said frightened.

“You! You have something to say?” Cravess said.

“Uhh..well..” Entropy tried to say.

“You don’t agree? Ok then come here!” Cravess said.

“Awww… crap…” Entropy said.

Once Entropy got up to Cravess he tied her up to a tree as well.

“Ok then is that it?” Cravess said.

My people aren’t this stupid! Why are they falling for this? Sean thought.

“Off we go then!” Cravess said.

Once all the people had started up the trail Cravess threw a bag towards Sean.

“Wont need this anymore…” Cravess said.

END CHAPTER 2

CHAPTER 3

“Try to help someone and this is what I get?” Entropy said in dismay.

“Well complaining isn’t going to help!” Sean said as he jerked and pulled at the rope around his wrists.

Sean and Entropy had been trying to find a way out of their binds for two days now and were beginning to become exhausted from lack of sleep, dehydration and starvation.

“If only I had my knife…” Sean said for the eleventh time that day.

“Well you don’t so quit repeating yourself and find a way out of these ropes!” Entropy said.

Sean didn’t answer. Instead he just looked up at the rays of sunlight that shone through the brush above them. Sean then wiggled the ropes down the tree so that he could sit down. Entropy soon joined him.

“Sean?” Entropy said in a weak voice.

“What?” Sean said as he squinted up at the sky.

“Why… Why are you always so…” Entropy tried to say.

“Why am I what?” Sean said.

“Why are you always so…edgy…” Entropy finally struggled to spit out.

“Why do you think???” Sean said back.

“Well I can understand why you’d be a bit stressed, but you seem to go berserk over the smallest things.” Entropy said.

“Like what?” Sean asked.

“Like right now! I’m only asking you a simple question and you go completely mad!” Entropy said with as much emphasis as she could in her current state.

“I….” Sean tried to produce a reason but couldn’t.

“You don’t know do you?” Entropy continued.

“Well, it’s the only way I can keep the group in check.” Sean said, trying to fight off his need for sleep.

“Well, the group is gone now thanks to what’s-his-name there, so you can stop now.” Entropy said as she too began to fell the effects of sleep depravation.
“I guess…” Sean said as he finally began to let his exhaustion take over him.

“Alright then.” Entropy said before she let out a massive yawn.

Entropy also began to fall asleep, and pretty soon was. As the day went by the two never showed any signs of life save the odd jerk to the left or right from Sean. The two would have slept through the entire day if not for a sudden rumbling that woke the two awake in a flash.

“Hmm?… Hu… What? What? Entropy wake up!” Sean said as he wiped off his drool onto his shoulder.

“What?…” Entropy said still half asleep.

“Do you feel that?” Sean questioned.

“Ya, what is that?” Entropy said now more aware of what was happening.

“I don’t know…” Sean said quietly.

Suddenly a small patch of dirt began to shift and crumble.

“What’s that?” Entropy asked.

Soon what they thought to be a pick axe could be seen poking up through the ground.

“I think I know what this is now…” Sean said.

All of a sudden a head poked out of the hole.

“Oh! Hello there!” A dwarf said from inside the hole.

“Who are you?” Sean asked.

“My name is Bug, how about you?” The Dwarf replied.

“Can you give us a hand Bug?” Entropy cut in.

“Why sure! What is it that you need?” Bug replied cheerily.

“Can you cut these ropes?” Entropy asked, trying to look friendly.

“Sure! I was wondering why you to weren’t moving very much.” Bug said as he hopped out of the hole, revealing he had claws on either hand.

“How’d that happen?” Sean asked as Bug walked over.
“Umm… Uh… Shut-up!” Bug said going from cheery to hostile.

“OK, sorry, calm-down…” Entropy said.

Ignoring her Bug began to cut the ropes that were holding the two to the tree.

“There ya go!” Bug said back to his cheerful mood.

“Thank you Bug.” Sean said.

“How did you two end up tied up anyways?” Bug asked.

“It’s a long story.” Entropy said as she slowly shifted towards the bag that Cravess had left.

“Whos bag is that?” Bug asked pointing towards it.

“It belonged to the person who tied us up here.” Sean said.

“Well do you know what’s in it?” Bug asked.

“Some kind of Mushroom.. What is this Sean?” Entropy asked as she picked up the bag and studied its contents.

“I don’t know…” Sean said, peering into the bag.

“If you guys come back into the mines with me I know someone who could tell you.” Bug interrupted.

“Ok, Is it possible we might also see your leader, Obomaru?” Sean asked.

At first there was no answer, but then Bugs face lit up in excitement.

“Hey wait, are you THE Sean?” Bug asked.

“I’m not 100% sure what you mean but yes, probably.” Sean replied.

“Wow! Of course you can meet with Obomaru! Holy crap! Are you hungry?” Bug raved.

“Well, yes… I guess I could go for some food.” Sean said.

“Well come on! You should of said something earlier we could’ve skipped all this small talk!” Bug said.

“That’s ok Bug, I’m no more special then anyone else.” Sean tried to explain

“Pfffffff! What ever!” Bug said.

“If you guys are done can we get to this food you mentioned?” Entropy said, anxiously.

“Oh, right! Come on then!” Bug said as he climbed back into the hole.

“Let’s go!” Entropy said.
